Exposition Park Parking

There are a limited number of public parking spaces in Exposition Park. Public parking sells out quickly and rates may vary per event. Entrances to Exposition Park are located at MLK & Hoover, 39th & Figueroa and W. 39th & Vermont. Exposition Park is managed by the Office of Exposition Park Management, a department of the State of California’s Natural Resources Agency.

Exposition Park

Entrances to Exposition Park are located at MLK & Hoover and 39th & Figueroa. Exposition Park is managed by the Office of Exposition Park Management, a department of the State of California’s Natural Resources Agency.

Beginning February 1, Exposition Park Lots 2 and 3 are being removed to start construction of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.  The first phase will begin construction of a multi-level parking garage that will be available in early 2019.

Overnight parking and camping is prohibited:
There is no re-entry for parking. Vehicles may not leave and re-enter the parking lot.
Vehicles parked on city streets are subject to citation. This includes Vermont Avenue, Bill Robertson Lane, Figueroa Street, Exposition Blvd. or Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.

During USC Football games:
The majority of parking lots are reserved for Trojan Athletic Fund Members. Each Trojan Athletic Fund Member is allocated a parking space based on their membership level.  For more information, visit trojanathleticfund.com. Parking lots open at 6:00 AM (unless otherwise noted in advance. Later kickoff times may open at 8:00 AM) and may be subject to change without notice.

During Rams Football games:
All lots are permitted in advance by the Los Angeles Rams. For more information, please visit The Rams. Parking lots open five hours prior to kickoff. Buses, RVs and over-sized vehicles must reserve space in advance by contacting the Rams Sales department.

USC Campus
The USC Campus provides additional parking opportunities and is located one block north of the Coliseum on the north side of Exposition Blvd. Entrances are located at 36th Street and Vermont, South Figueroa Street and McCarthy Way.

During USC Football games:
USC campus lots and parking structures open at 6:00 AM and are subject to availability for $25. Advance reserved parking is available through Click & Park at the  Grand Avenue Parking Structure (formerly UPX) at 3401 Grand Avenue. Shuttle service is also provided from this location three hours prior to kickoff, and resuming at the start of the 4th quarter until 1 hour after the game.

During Rams Football games:
USC parking lots will be available on a first-come first-served basis for $50 at the following locations:

  • Downey Street Structure (formerly PSA) – Gate 6 located at Vermont at W. 36th Pl. or Gate 1 at Exposition Blvd. and Watt Way.
  • Jefferson Blvd. Structure (formerly PSB) – Gate 8 located at Jefferson Blvd. (East of Vermont Ave.)
  • Royal Street Structure (formerly PSD) – Gate 4 located at Jefferson Blvd. and Royal St.
    Grand Ave. Structure (formerly UPX) – Located on 35th St. between Hope St. and Grand Ave.
  • Shrine Parking Garage – May be accessed from two entrances:645 W. Jefferson Blvd. from Figueroa Blvd. (Westbound only)

Other Public Lots
Public parking is also available in surrounding surface lots on Figueroa Street and Vermont Avenue and at the Browning Street Garage located at Browning Street and Vermont Avenue. Parking may be available in other lots near LA Live and the LA Convention Center. Take Metro for transport to USC/Exposition Park.

Overflow Parking
Space may be available at the Shrine West Lot located at 715 W. Jefferson Blvd.  Price is $40. The parking is based on availability which may be subject to Shrine Auditorium events. The space is first-come, first-served and is not available to reserve in advance.  Oversized vehicles such as RVs, Buses or limos are no longer permitted to park here.

USC Safety Policy and Fact Sheet

USC employees who are authorized to drive University owned vehicles are required to take a Defensive Driving course. New employees who are assigned duties which include driving a vehicle have 90 days from hire date or the date they assume their driving duties, to take the course. Employees continuing to drive vehicles must take a refresher course every three years. Online Training via Trojan Learn

Now you can complete the required Defensive Driving course for free and at the comfort of your own computer!

This one-hour training provides simple defensive driving techniques to reduce a driver’s chance of being involved in a motor vehicle accident. The content in this course is designed to comply with the intent of the applicable regulatory requirements, define defensive driving, recognize accident prevention methods, identify the importance of seat belts, describe the facts concerning the impact of “drinking and driving,” and identify vehicle safety measures on the job.

You must complete the course by viewing all pages and scoring 70% or higher on the test.

Faculty/StaffStudents

*Trojan Learn is an online resource currently available to USC faculty and staff. Defensive Driving certification is automatically tracked via Trojan Learn for faculty and staff. At this time, students do not have access to Trojan learn. However, students can easily access Trojan Learn through their faculty or staff manager’s account. NOTE: Please do not share username and/or passwords. After completing the course, please have students submit the student acknowledgement form in order for the university to recognize their training. Please follow the step-by-step instructions provided for students above.

FAQ’s
Q: If I am a Faculty or Staff member, how does the system know that a student completed the training under my account?
A: The Defensive Driving Team tracks student completions through the online student acknowledgement form.
